About MCP Skull
MCP Skull is a searchable directory of MCP servers. Browse by task, filter the results, and check a project's GitHub activity before opening its setup docs.

Built on community work
We are independent and not affiliated with punkpeye/awesome-mcp-servers, its maintainers, Glama, or the Model Context Protocol project. The directory uses Frank Fiegel and contributors’ list under the MIT license.
Community contributors do the hard work of discovering and describing these projects. We add searchable categories, filters, project activity and our own explanations to help you choose.
How updates work
The directory checks for updates every six hours. GitHub stars, language, releases and activity refresh at least daily when upstream services are available. If an update fails or unexpectedly loses a large part of the list, the last accepted directory stays live.
Read the signals
Official means the upstream list marks an implementation as official. It is not a security certification. Stars show repository popularity, including the whole repository when several servers share one.
Local means an integration talks to local software or resources. Cloud means it talks to a cloud service. Neither badge tells you whether the MCP server is hosted remotely or how it transports messages.
A listing is not a security review or endorsement. Before installing, read the project documentation, check permissions and credentials, and use access appropriate to your task.
Help improve the directory
Not affiliated with the maintainers: add a project or suggest a correction through the original community list. Accepted changes appear here through the automatic sync.
Project logos come from Dashboard Icons (Apache-2.0), theSVG (MIT), and official project assets. Project names and logos are their owners’ trademarks. The illustrations and visual design belong to MCP Skull.
